NovoMatrix™ reconstructive tissue matrix (NovoMatrix RTM) is a collagen matrix that isderived from porcine dermis and then processed and preserved in a patented aqueousphosphate buffered solution containing matrix stabilizers. NovoMatrix RTM consists of asterilized sheet of processed porcine dermis provided in prescribed sizes and packaged in adouble pouch. Use of NovoMatrix RTM provides for a strong and biocompatible implant and will incorporate into the patient’s tissue with associated cell and microvascular ingrowth.
