Warning notice:

Particularly with zirconia restorations, the passivity of the abutments and the precise fit of the screw seat are essential for long-term stability. We recommend a microscopic inspection of the screw seat and a trial fitting to ensure a passive fit. For angled screw channels and when using milling technology, note that the screw seat must be milled “from below.” To do this, ensure that the milling machine, CAM software, and milling tool are suitable for this purpose. To prevent material damage to PMMA restoration materials, a reduced hole diameter of 1.47 mm for the screw thread is stored in the CAD library. Since this design requires a small (non-standard) T-shaped milling cutter, printing is preferable to milling in this case.

Notice:

Pack of 5 screws. The screw is used to secure restorations made of zirconia, PMMA, or 3D-printed materials directly onto a multi-unit abutment, without the need for an intermediate component, such as a titanium base or a cap. The flat screw seat reduces the risk of damage to the restoration. The screw allows the screw channel to be angled up to 25° relative to the implant axis. It can be inserted using the Hex screwdrivers (Item No. J5317.05xx). For angled screw channels, the Ballpoint screwdrivers (Item No. J5319.05xx) must be used. The maximum tightening torque is 15Ncm, as for the standard prosthetic screws for Multi-unit abutments. The screw is integrated into the CAD libraries for 3Shape (“Multi-unit abutment for Camlog / BioHorizons implant systems”; version 2026-02-01 and later) and exocad (“Multi-unit”; version 2026-02-09 and later). CAD libraries are freely available in the Media Center on the Camlog website.
